Some times back there were news that this area was having high level of radon.

The venues are the large concert rooms with double dance floors and small intimate listening rooms which are all non-smoking zones. All rooms have been done with Radon mitigation as closed rooms usually have high health risks if the level of Radon is high in the area. To check and mitigate the Radon gas, services of Radon Mitigation Fort Collins company which is run by a Jazz fan. Since the building is Radon free, fans can enjoy the fest safely for a longer time indoor.

San Diego Jazz Festival is one of the exceptionally well-organized festivals with a map of the premises which is very helpful to this first-timer. The people attending the event would be provided with an insert which will have a chronological listing by location of all the sets, as well as an alphabetical listing of each band and pianist sets, along with the time and location. The listing will also be available on the AFCDJS website.

The conference center also has several restaurants with wide selections for meals and drinks. There would also be a limited-menu food station during the Jazz Fest where grab-and-go sandwiches and soups are available, which is specially set up in the lobby for people who wanted a quick and simple meal. There would be a bartender station which offers a selection of beverages as well. And outside the Convention Center, there are Terrace Café offering

breakfast, lunch, and dinner, The Sunshine Deli which offers coffee and food ordered-to-go and Trixie’s roaming bar that offers craft cocktails. The large upscale Fashion Valley shopping mall is a short distance away that has various eateries ranging from fast food and coffee bars to fancier places.

Parking is provided to both the hotel guests and jazz fest attendees for the low daily rate. And in the event when there is an overflow of parking, there will be an arrangement for additional parking locations and will even provide shuttle services to and from the locations. Every year the number of people attending the event keeps increasing. But, the crowd is also very well managed by the AFCDJS directors, staff, and volunteers.
